The Delta Festival in Marseille
At the campsite in Martigues, you are ideally located to quickly reach Marseille and enjoy exceptional cultural events such as the Delta Festival. Only a 35 minute drive from L’Arquet and Les Chalets de la Mer, you can take part in this major event bringing together culture and musical diversity.
During the 5 days of the festival, you can discover thematic villages and exceptional stages that will immerse you in complete immersion thanks to breathtaking effects. Book your accommodation at the campsite according to the dates of the Delta Festival. In 2022, it’s from 29 June to 3 July!
The Venetian night
In July, don’t miss this not-to-be-missed event in the life of the town. You will have excellent memories of your stay in the Bouches-du-Rhône region, which will be marked by music and sharing!
The Venetian Night offers you a night-time stroll through the districts of Martigues with brass bands, artistic strolls and street performances. The town centre is entirely pedestrianised for this event, allowing you to take full advantage of this summer evening!
Sardinades
It is the unmissable event of the summer. If you come to visit us in July or August, take advantage of this typical event of the region: the sardinades of Martigues.
From 6 p.m. onwards, every evening during the summer, in the island district, come and taste grilled sardines and sardines à l’escabèche. The Place des Aires is transformed into a friendly and colourful place where you can discover other seafood: mussels, grilled swordfish, tuna…
